Dr. RJ has been featured on an episode of the documentary Killer Kids on Lifetime Movie Network and is the host of the Ask Dr. RJ show on WIGO AM 1570.

Dr. RJ also has a special interest in treating trauma in victims of child sex trafficking, and has partnered with two local Senators to eradicate this widespread atrocity.

In 2015, Dr. RJ was appointed by Chairman John Eaves of the Fulton County Board of Commissioners to play an integral role on a task force to end Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children. The task force has had monumental success and was recently applauded during a publicly broadcasted board meeting by the bi-partisan Board of Commissioners for their work.

Other recent community advocacy Dr. RJ served on a panel moderated by former Mayor Shirley Franklin on the topic of child sex trafficking, appeared as a presenter to train over 100 Gwinnett County school counselors and educators about childhood trauma, served as a co-moderator with Senator Donzella James to discuss Amendment 1 (Opportunity School District), and served as the keynote speaker on a program for Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention.
